The Role

The Logistics Officer plays a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of operations and maintenance (O&M) activities for iwell’s Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). As part of the Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for coordinating logistics activities, managing inventory, and preparing materials for operational and maintenance work.

 

You will ensure that field technicians, internal teams, and external partners have timely access to the correct materials, tools, and equipment, enabling work to be carried out safely, efficiently, and without unnecessary delays.

 

This role requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive mindset, strong communication abilities, and a continuous focus on quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

What you will do

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment based on demand, work orders, and supplier lead times.

  • Manage warehouse operations, including goods receipt, project picking, cycle counts, annual stock audits, and inventory accuracy.

  • Coordinate material, tool, and spare parts availability to support Field Engineers, Technical Project Managers, and Service teams.

  • Create purchase orders, place supplier orders, and track inbound and outbound shipments in NetSuite.

  • Coordinate deliveries to project sites and respond quickly to operational changes and urgent requests.

  • Support assembly activities by ensuring components are available, planning builds, and coordinating with manufacturers.

  • Identify and implement improvements in warehouse, logistics, inventory, and service processes to increase efficiency.

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Service teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and on-time project execution.

What are looking for

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment or a similar role, preferably within the energy, technical, or industrial sector.

  • You have some formal training in VCA and ADR, or are open to such training.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.

  • Preferably, you are familiar with working with ERP and WMS systems.

  • Proactive communicator who builds strong relationships, takes initiative, and keeps stakeholders informed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. 

  • Weekly working hours of max 24 hours, possible to have flexible hours during the week.

  • All working hours are expected to be carried out from our office.
